I love the sound it makes against the ground
The intensity of a storm
The flashing lighting
The booming thunder
The rain is so free
I feel the freedom dancing in the rain
It feels so good as the rain soaks my skin
From head to toe
It’s like all my sins being cleansed away
A rebirth of the soul
I love the rain
The smell of it
It smells so good after a storm
I let the raindrops I’m my mouth
Spinning in circles laughing
I love dancing in the rain

Petrichlor. That is a very old word, and the only word I've ever heard of to define the smell of rain following a long dry spell. I'm a thunderstorm junky too. If there's one in my neighborhood, chances are good I've gone for a walk.
